Billy was looking forward to running the errand for Pa. It wasn’t really about getting the feed for the pigs so much as it was who he’d get to see at the counter. He sure had a thing for Lizzy and he was looking forward to asking her to the Sunday Social. On his way to the Sears, he’d swing by Miss Mary’s and pick up some blue ribbon for the flowers he wanted to give Lizzy.⠀
