The Story
Beefus and Varmint were up for the task. This was supposed to be a fairly routine fly over to commemorate the opening day of the baseball season. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. ⠀
As they were in the air in standard finger four formation, they got a strange call over the radio. Just moments before they were to fly over the stadium, a bomb exploded. ⠀

Within seconds, Beefus and Varmint had a very different mission to fulfill. A mission that may change the course of events for a very long time.⠀
The History
The best I can find is that this was once a TA-4J Skyhawk. I’m not an aviation expert by any means but find beauty in these old relics. If you know anything more, please share in the comments.⠀
