The Story
When the work bell rings, the people line up to punch the clock. One at a time, they line up waiting for their turn. Slowly they advance, lunch pails and work gear in hand until it’s their turn to clock in and grind the day away. ⠀
The History
The purpose of this bell is not known. Since it is attached to the fence of an old factory, I can only assume it was a work bell.⠀
